Our tour menu is an introduction to the traditions and rich history of the mysterious country of Noah, whose ark once landed on Mount Ararat. Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery
The pagan temple of Garni - III century BC is one of the main tourist attractions in Armenia. Garni is the only witness to the Hellenistic era in Armenia. In 77 A.D. after numerous Roman attacks, under the rule of Czar Trdat, the temple was rebuilt and dedicated to Mithra, the god of the Sun. After the adoption of Christianity, for many years the temple served as the summer residence of Armenian kings.
Geghard Cave Monastery is is situated at a distance of 9 kilometers from Garni and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The time of the founding of the monastery was not exactly established, but it is known that at the beginning of the 4th century there was a monastery called Ayrivank (Armenian: "Monastery in the Cave") due to its location in natural and artificial caves.
Khor Virap
Khor Virap is a monastery located in Armenia that was first established in 642 CE. Its name is derived from "virap nerk'in," which means "deep dungeon" in Armenian. Khor Virap is one of the most sacred and visited sites in Armenia primarily due to the legend of Saint Gregory the Illuminator who was imprisoned for 13 years in Khor Virap's dungeon before succeeding in the conversion of King Tiridates (Trdat) the Great to Christianity in the first decades of the 4th century CE. During the Middle Ages, Khor Virap was a center of education and learning, and despite a colossal earthquake in 1679 CE, it remains a site of pilgrimage and immense cultural interest to Armenians today.
The monastery consists of the St. Gevorg Chapel, the St. Astvatsatsin Chapel, a large courtyard, and fortified walls. Khor Virap is set upon a chain of hills in the Ararat Plain in Armenia's Ararat Province. The monastery affords spectacular views of Mount Ararat and the present-day Turkish border, which is delineated by the Aras River. Khor Virap is additionally within sight of the ruins of the ancient Armenian capital of Artashat, 16 km (10 mi) from the ancient city of Dvin, and 43 km (27 mi) of the modern Armenian capital, Yerevan.

Yerevan is an ancient city. It is even 30 years older than Rome - as much as 2800 years old. It is located in the land of mountain peaks, ancient monasteries, and lingering duduk melodies.
Being one of the oldest cities in the world, Yerevan is distinguished not only by its extraordinary architecture but also by its interesting location, from where you can see the whole city, the entire Ararat Valley, and even the neighboring state. In front of you is Armenia, with its historical capital and the whole planet.
Yerevan is famous for its hospitality: this city will do everything to make you feel at home. During its history, the city was destroyed and rebuilt dozens of times. Today, most of the houses here are built of multi-colored tuff - a volcanic rock, because of which Yerevan also received the name "Pink City."

Lake Sevan
The ancient relict lake Sevan - "Pearl of Armenia" or "Geghama Sea" - is one of the largest alpine freshwater lakes in the world. This true miracle of nature is located in the very center of the Armenian Highlands, in a huge mountain bowl framed by picturesque mountain ranges at an altitude of 1900 m. Sevan, more than once sung in poetry and prose, is bewitchingly beautiful. Its clear waters are surprisingly capable of changing color: in sunny weather it is pale turquoise, in windy weather it is severe gray, and silver at night.
The main inhabitant of Sevan is Sevan trout or as the Armenians call it "ishkhan", is listed in the Red Book. Thanks to the excellent taste of its pale pink meat, ishkhan has become a real treat for local gourmets. The delicious trout is a special on our dinner menu.

Monastery Tegher
Built with the goal to stand firm for thousand years, until the Second Advent or the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Cathedral of Zvartnots was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Being one of the tallest buildings in that period the Cathedral of Zvartnots is a real architectural miracle that was consecrated in 652. There is an interesting fact regarding the consecration; it is said that at the consecration Constans II, the Emperor of Byzantine, was so much impressed by the cathedral that decided to take the cathedral’s architect to Constantinople to build a similar structure there. The architect, however, got sick on the way and died.

The ancient relict lake Sevan - "Pearl of Armenia" or "Geghama Sea" - is one of the largest alpine freshwater lakes in the world. This true miracle of nature is located in the very center of the Armenian Highlands, in a huge mountain bowl framed by picturesque mountain ranges at an altitude of 1900 m. Sevan, more than once sung in poetry and prose, is bewitchingly beautiful. Its clear waters are surprisingly capable of changing color: in sunny weather it is pale turquoise, in windy weather it is severe gray, and silver at night.
The main inhabitant of Sevan is Sevan trout or as the Armenians call it "ishkhan", is listed in the Red Book. Thanks to the excellent taste of its pale pink meat, ishkhan has become a real treat for local gourmets. The delicious trout is a special on our dinner menu.

Logos is a social and cultural project by Gohar Davtyan. The project is aimed at creating an oasis of calmness and harmony in the modern world and restoring the balance and sense of joy.
When travelling around the picturesque places of Armenia, Gohar Davtyan realized: a place with a unique atmosphere is very close. It is in a small village called Tegher, which existed peacefully for centuries on the slopes of silent mountains. One can see the biblical Mount Ararat on one side and the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary made of dark volcanic tuff in the 12th century on the other side there. That's a unique 'place of power'.
Seven generations of priests from the family of Gohar Davtyan's spouse performed their spiritual service in that beautiful village, among the aromas of mountain herbs and green gardens. According to her plan, the word 'Logos' will be the only thing interrupting the ringing silence of the mountains there. That's how Logos, the name of the spiritual retreat, appeared.
A hotel in Tegher was built only a year after the appearance of the idea. It became the venue for the launch of a unique original program called The «Road Home». That program is a guide to the most important person: to oneself.
The program participants get the opportunity to create a happy version of themselves by discovering and accepting themselves. After all, we can broadcast our happiness to the world only after becoming happy.
There is a set of programs within the project – combination of acquaintance with the traditions of the rich history of Noah with Mount Ararat known as his biblical ark's landing place, unique excursions and hiking tours around the mountains, participation in the ancient festivals and dances of the Armenian people, workshops, training sessions, meditations, yoga classes, and spiritual practices.
Guests come to Logos to learn to relax, to hear their inner voice, to enjoy the ringing silence of the mountains, to find harmony, and to boost their energy level thanks to culture and history of ancient Armenia. When coming home, they feel refreshed and happy.

Are our retreats suitable for beginners in yoga?
Our retreats are suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. There are easy yoga asana series for beginners and advanced yoga poses for experienced yogis. Yoga can be practiced at any age and life situation.
Should I want to come earlier or stay longer?
Excellent! We will be happy to put together a tour for you or help with the program of your stay, depending on your preferences.
Where to buy a plane ticket?
You can use search engines such as skyscanner.ru or avisales.ru. You can also entrust the selection of tickets to our team. We will be happy to book an ideal option balanced in price and the duration of the flight.
Do I need a visa to Armenia?
Prior visa application for a tourist visit to Armenia is not required. As part of a visa-free treatment, Russian citizens can stay in the country for six months. After 30 days of residence, you need to register with the local competent authorities. Russian citizens have the right to cross the border presenting either their national or international passport. The presence of one of these documents provides the right to stay in Armenia for up to 180 days. The only rule is that the validity period must be at least 3 months longer than the period of stay in the country.
